I am a realtor and used Embers To Ashes Chimney Sweeps. He was very thorough! He actually found major health hazards. Not only fire hazards, but C02 gas leaks that could have been very dangerous to my client. My general home inspector highly rates his abilities, and he personally will recommend them for repairs. I highly recommend their services!

One of the reasons we bought our house was because of the beautiful fireplace! But the sellers had never had it inspected and never used it. Soon after moving in we started looking for a chimney sweep to inspect our fireplace and provide us a quote for any necessary repairs. Embers to Ashes stood out from all the others. David Lister quickly responded to our inquiry, gave us a reasonable quote for the inspection and restoration of the fireplace, and was prompt with providing services. They were very friendly and professional and explained the process of choosing and installing a wood stove. The fireplace and chimney cleaning was thorough and the cost was very reasonable. I feel very comfortable that Embers To Ashes will do a great job installing my new wood stove. UPDATE: Embers To Ashes did indeed install my wood stove approx. two weeks ago. I've used it almost every day since then. I would absolutely recommend this company, without hesitation. They designed and fabricated an outside combustion air vent and also made a few repairs in the fireplace to ensure that the wood stove was safe to use. Dave kept in contact before the install and has followed up with me twice to make sure I was totally satisfied. He gave me tips on using the new stove to get the best results to keep us safe and warm, including making sure that we had functioning co2 and smoke detectors. Thank you Embers To Ashes! We inherited a wood burning stove from the prior homeowners that had been improperly (and dangerously) installed and not maintained. Dave Lister with Embers to Ashes scheduled us promptly for an inspection and then completed a full cleaning and professional reinstallation. Our wood burning stove finally works perfectly and we could not be more thrilled with his work. He explained in detail the issues with the chimney and prior installation and corrected all of them, along with showing us how to best use our stove. We will absolutely be using his services in the future! I highly recommend him and his team!

It was wonderful having Dave come out to inspect my chimneys. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and dedicated to doing great work. You can tell he cares about people and their safety. I learned a ton from him and highly recommended his company.

I am so grateful and feel lucky that I can get my heating unit and water boiler back on , last week on Wednesday I went to work as usual then about 5:30 pm my son called about the nest protect went off because of high level of co2 , he called the fire department , they showed up and inspected that we had a problem with the. vent so they turned off all the gas line . We called the heater service , they came and informed us that we had a back draft on the flue . After found out the main issue we called at least 25 service listed on Google but no service can be done until Jan 7 , So lucky David Lister the owner called me called me the next day after Christmas , it was on Sunday , he tried to help me out by having his son was on vacation come and help me to clear the blockage , at the most desperate situation like this to have someone to help to restore the water boiler and the heating unit back so we won’t get during winter like this , i don’t how to thank you so much for understanding my situation of need desperately , I definitely recommend his service to anyone I know . Once more I thank you so much David and your son for your help and your understanding .
